What are matching funds?
Matching funds are raised by each participating nonprofit on their own
Matching funds are funds that are put up by a donor (or group of donors) to “challenge” others to give, usually to give a certain goal amount. Matching funds should be a 1:1 match.  Watch this video to learn more about matching funds. View this document from the Marketing Toolkit about Matching Funds

If a nonprofit raised matching funds by August 24, they are shown in the matching funds leaderboard and the nonprofits giving profile on NorthTexasGivingDay.org.
